WAFA is running a Summer camp from 10 to 15 January 2011 for Under 13s, Under 15s, and Under 17s. Full details are in this PDF file.

Next Saturday, 11 September, will be the final Saturday session held at the club this term, and the usual end-of-term club competitions will be held. The following Saturday, 18 September, will not be held at the club. Instead, we encourage you to participate in the Activity Weekend and its associated competitions.

The final Activity Weekend of the year, including State U13/U15/U20 foil competitions, will be held on 18 and 19 September, at UWA Claremont Campus Gym, Goldsworthy Road, Claremont. Epeeists are wanted for the forthcoming state Club Team Epee competition, 1 PM or shortly thereafter Saturday 28 August at Cavaliers (not Belmont). Any gender may compete. Trainee epeeists, this is a great chance to gain some experience.

With AFF#3 just over 2 weeks away, the WAFA open may have slipped under people’s radar. It’s on this weekend, with Epee (9:00) and Sabre (1:00) on Saturday and Foil (9:00) on Sunday. Venue is the usual Belmont location.

FIE-qualified international-standard referee Steven Lim will be conducting basic refereeing sessions on the next couple of Tuesday sessions at Excalibur. This coming Tuesday 23 March, Steven will be covering Sabre.
